Elmington Capital Group now owns a handful of land parcels on the western part of Charlotte Avenue, a few miles from downtown. The firm, led by Ben Brewer, spend $17 million on 5330,5324, and 5320 Charlotte Ave., according to newly filed deeds. The 9-acre site holds a strip mall, Burger King, and parking lot.
